Instruction for medical use of the drug.
The composition of the drug:
active substance: 1 tablet contains antibodies to gamma interferon of human affinity purified: a mixture of homeopathic dilutions C12, C30 and C50 – 3 mg;
excipients: lactose monohydrate, cellulose microcrystalline, magnesium stearate.

Complex homeopathic drug.
The drug is used for the treatment and prevention of SARS and influenza. Prophylactic and therapeutic use has immunomodulatory and antiviral effect. Experimentally and clinically proven efficacy against viruses of influenza, parainfluenza, herpes simplex viruses type 1 and 2 (labially herpes, genital herpes), other herpes viruses (chickenpox, infectious mononucleosis), enteroviruses, tick-borne encephalitis virus, rotavirus, coronavirus, calcivirus, adenovirus, respiratory syncytial virus (RS-virus). The drug reduces the concentration of virus in infected tissues, it acts on the system of endogenous interferons and related cytokines, induces the formation of endogenous "early" interferons (IFN α/β) and γ-interferon (γ-IFN).
It stimulates the humoral and cellular immune response. Increases the production of antibodies (including secretory IgA), activates the function of T-effectors and T-helpers (Th) and normalizes their ratio. Increases functional reserve Th and other cells involved in the immune response. TX1 and induces a mixed Th2-type immune response: it increases the production of cytokines TX1 (γ-IFN, IL-2) and Th2 (IL-4, IL-10), normalizes (modulates) the balance TX1/TX2 activities. Increases the functional activity of phagocytes and natural killer cells.
Has antimutagenic properties.
Indications for use.
In the complex therapy and prevention of acute respiratory viral infections (including influenza).
Complex therapy of infections caused by herpesviruses (infectious mononucleosis, varicella, labialis herpes, genital herpes).
Complex therapy and prophylaxis of relapses of chronic herpes virus infections, including labeling and genital herpes.
Complex therapy and prophylaxis of other acute and chronic viral infections caused by tick-borne encephalitis virus, enteroviruses, rotaviruses, coronavirus, calcivirus.
Used in composition of complex therapy of bacterial infections.
Complex therapy of secondary immunodeficiency of various etiologies, including the prevention and treatment of complications of viral and bacterial infections.
Contraindications. Increased individual sensitivity to product components.
Any medicines to children of early age use under medical supervision.
Part of Anaferon children includes lactose monohydrate, and therefore the drug is not recommended to appoint patients with congenital galactosemia, syndrome of malabsorption of glucose or galactose and congenital lactase failure.
Use during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Data on the efficacy and safety of the drug during pregnancy or lactation are not available, so it should not be administered in these periods.
The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving motor transport or operating other mechanisms.

Children. Used in children aged 1 month to 18 years.
Method of application and doses.
The drug is taken orally 1 tablet 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after a meal. The tablet is held in your mouth (preferably without chewing or swallowing) until dissolved.
In appointing the drug to children (aged 1 month – 3 years) it is recommended to dissolve the tablet in a small amount (1 tablespoon) of boiled water of room temperature.
SARS, influenza, intestinal infections, herpes virus infection, neuroinfections.
Treatment should begin as soon as possible after the first signs of acute viral infection according to the following scheme: first 2 hours the drug is taken every 30 minutes (5 doses), then during the first day, 3 pills at equal intervals of time (total 8 tablets during the first days). Starting from the 2nd day and thereafter the drug is taken 1 tablet 3 times a day until complete recovery.
In the absence of improvement on the third day of drug treatment of acute respiratory viral infections and flu, you must seek the advice of a doctor.
For prevention take 1 tablet 1 time a day every day for 1-3 months (for the duration of the epidemic season).
Genital herpes. In acute manifestations of genital herpes are taking equal intervals of time according to the following scheme: 1-3 day – 1 tablet 8 times per day; thereafter, 1 tablet 4 times a day for at least 3 weeks.
For the prevention of relapses of chronic herpes virus infection – 1 tablet a day.
The recommended duration of preventive course is determined individually and can reach 6 months.
In applying the drug for the treatment and prevention of immunodeficiencies and in the complex therapy of bacterial infections take 1 tablet a day.
Overdose. Cases of overdose up to now not registered. In case of accidental overdose dyspeptic symptoms caused by components that are part of the drug.
Side effects. Allergic reactions, including itching, rash, hives, redness of skin and swelling.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.
No incompatibilities with other drugs are not registered.
If necessary, the drug can be used in conjunction with other antiviral, antibacterial and symptomatic drugs.
The expiration date. 3 years. Do not use the preparation after expiry date stated on the package.
The storage conditions. Keep at temperature not exceeding 25 °C.Keep out of reach of children.
