The pharmacological properties.
Troxevasin is a mixture of bioflavonoids containing not less than 95 % troxerutin. Troxerutin accumulates selectively in endotelialnogo layer venules, penetrates deep into subendothelial layer of the venous wall, and the concentration is higher than in the adjacent tissues. The antioxidant effect is manifested in the reduction and elimination of the oxidizing properties of oxygen, inhibition of lipid peroxidation, protection of the vascular endothelium from oxidative action of hydroxyl radicals. Troxerutin reduces the increased capillary permeability and increases venous tone. Indications. Troxevasin gel is used for the symptomatic treatment of such diseases:
