Description
The drug Senada - medicine plant-based.
The drug has a laxative effect, used to eliminate constipation in adults and children. Also laxatives can be used for the purpose of regulation of the chair in various pathologies, such as hemorrhoids, proctitis, anal fissures, obesity. This refers to the pharmacological group of drugs that have a laxative action by increasing peristalsis of intestine.
Indications for use:
The drug Senada is used for constipation caused by hypotonia and sluggish peristaltika colon; regulation chair with haemorrhoids, proktite, anal fissure.
Method of application:
Take the pills Senade inside, usually 1 time per day at night before bedtime with water or any drink.
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tab. at the reception. In the absence of effect the dose can be increased to 2-3 table.
Children 6-12 years: 1/2 tab. If necessary, increase the dose to table 1-2. In the selection process, the same dose should be taken within a few days and gradually increase it to 1/2 tab. If after reaching the maximum dose for 3 days defecation does not occur, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Side effects:
Laxative effect of the drug This may be accompanied by colicky abdominal pain, flatulence. With prolonged use, especially in high doses, possible violations of water-electrolyte metabolism, albuminuria, hematuria, deposition of melanin in the mucous membrane of the intestine, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, discoloration of urine, skin rash, convulsions, circulatory collapse, fatigue, confusion.
Contraindications:
Contraindications to the use of the drug Senada are: hypersensitivity to the drug; spastic constipation; intestinal obstruction; abdominal pain of unknown origin; incarcerated hernia; acute inflammatory diseases of abdominal cavity; peritonitis; gastrointestinal and uterine bleeding; cystitis; violation of water-electrolyte metabolism.
Caution: liver disease and/or kidney disease; pregnancy and lactation; post-abdominal surgery; children up to age 6 years, based on dosing regimen.
Pregnancy:
With caution should designate Senada during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Interaction with other medicinal products:
Prolonged use Buy high doses may increase the action of cardiac glycosides and the effect on the action of antiarrhythmic drugs in connection with the possibility of developing hypokalemia.
While the use of thiazide diuretics, glucocorticoids, preparations of licorice root increases the risk of gipokaliemii.
Overdose:
Overdose symptoms Senada: the main adverse effect in case of overdose diarrhoea, leading to dehydration.
Treatment: conservative measures — increased fluid intake. This is usually enough to compensate for the loss of fluid and electrolytes. In some cases it is necessary to compensate for the loss of fluid and electrolytes, using the in/in infusion of plasma substitutes.

Composition:
